Nothing New

July 15
Andrew came to Numata for today and tomorrow, so we hung out a little at school and watched some of the first Evangelion movie during our break time. He left a little after lunch and I had to stay since I had a class during fifth period, but I just watched some more Kimi wa Petto and then went home.
After dinner I went for a walk with Mama-chan, came home and showered. I must have pulled something on the top of my right foot though, since it had been hurting during the day and then when I got home from our walk I realized it had swollen.
Luckily Mama-chan and Papa-chan put some ice on it and then one of those gel pads that takes away heat, so it's getting better. It's just kind of sore.

July 16
It was clear today so I was able to ride my bike to school--thank goodness, since  my foot was kind of tender when I woke up and I wouldn't have been able to walk.
I just helped out with the special ed class today, and was able to go home by 10:30. I had some of that jell-o like stuff for a snack (it's called zerii), watched some Batman and played around on Facebook for a while, then had lunch with obaa-san and ojii-san. Then I went back up to my room and watched more Batman and took a nap, then woke up and got ready to go out to meet Nicola at the station for the going-away JET party thing she invited me to. It was for her and another JET called Emily, and also a kind of birthday party for Emily and another girl. I had some sort of veggie pasta for dinner, which was yummy and made me realize how much I was unknowingly craving Western-styled food after two whole months of Japanese meals (even though I love Japanese food more than anything!).
I left around 10, since Mama-chan had asked me to be home by then or else she would worry, and then dicked around online, adding Nicola on Facebook and one of the other JETs that had been there at the party, then went to bed.
