Same ol`, same ol`.

July 5: First day at Numata Elementary
A teacher from the school, Sato-sensei, picked me up this morning and took me to Numata, the new school I`ll be teaching at for the next two weeks. The principal, Takahashi-sensei, showed me around the school and talked a little bit about her time in Colorado when she visited the States about twenty years ago.
I helped out with the third graders today. Nothing new to report, since we`re basically doing the same stuff here as at all the other schools; introductions, asking questions, number practice, et cetera.
I got home a little after 3:30 and sequestered myself in my room for a long nap, since I was really exhausted for some reason. I woke up and went for a walk, then came home and ate dinner, then showered and went to bed.

July 6
I rode my bike to school this morning, since it`s not very far away (about fifteen, twenty minutes maybe). They had the welcome ceremony for me this morning, and after that I met with the fifth grade teachers to discuss what to do with the fifth graders today, which was basically the same thing I did with the third graders yesterday, except with numbers.
I was done after lunch, so I biked home. When I got home no one else was there, so I hoped online and watched some Durarara!!, since I`d finished reading all the available manga chapters and liked it enough to start on the anime. After that I took a nap for an hour, then got up and had some tea and snacks with Mie-san. Then I got antsy and went for a bike ride for a little over an hour, then got back and showered and watched some Batman: The Animated Series before dinner. After dinner I went back and watched more Batman, and then went to bed.
I hope this week gets over soon. I only have two more days left at the school since Friday there aren`t any classes, just an opera-type music recital in the afternoon. I feel like the closer it gets for me to go home, the slower time goes. Maybe it`s just because when I get back I have so much that I have to get done, I just want it to be time for me to start on it all--like GUIDE training and moving into the apartment with Edie and Megan, and finishing my Harley Quinn cosplay, and starting my senior year at school. I`m just too excited for it all.
